About Pharmacy Accountants

You tell us whether you own a pharmacy or work as a locum, and what you need doing. We come back with a fixed fee in writing, and once it is agreed we take over the bookkeeping, the VAT, the payroll and the returns, or whichever of those you asked for. There is no hourly clock and no charge for a question asked between filings.

Where you already have an accountant, there is a standard handover, and we can pick up part-way through a year. Where you are a new locum or a first-time owner, we set the records up from the start so the first VAT return or the first year end is planned rather than a scramble.

Community pharmacy funding and the tax reliefs on a sale both move year to year, so every figure on the site, every rate, threshold, fee and date, is checked against the primary source, gov.uk, an HMRC notice, the CPCF settlement or the GPhC, and dated. Where we cannot confirm something to a primary source, we leave it off rather than guess.

There are no invented testimonials, no stock photographs of other people's pharmacies, and no named author we cannot stand behind. The guidance is written and reviewed in-house and reviewed again when the rules change.
